  • October 2015 – PRRL’s Carmen Sima, PhD candidate, was asked to write an article for  UBC’s Department of Physical Therapy newsletter.  Carmen rose to the challenge and wrote a  wonderful article about the lessons she has learned during her PhD journey from her experiences with her lab team mates!!  To read the article, click here
  • September 2015 – The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Research Laboratory has 4 new additions!  Dr. Jessica Inskip: post – doctorate fellow; Ali Asamari: PhD Student; Ori Benari: MSc  Student; & Walden Cheung: MSc student.  We are very excited to have everyone on board with the lab!
  • November 2014 – Pulmonary Rehabilitation Research Laboratory Masters students Christen Chan and Satvir Dhillon both successfully defended their thesis in  October 2014.  We congratulate them and wish them future success!
  • July 2014 – Carmen Sima, PhD candidate, Satvir Dhillion, MSc candidate and Christen Chan, MSc candidate are featured on the Institute of Heart & Lung  Health website discussing their research projects as part of their Rehabilitation Sciences degree.  We are very proud of Carmen, Christen and Satvir!
  • May 2014 – Carmen Sima, PhD candidate, was awarded with the BC Lung Respiratory Rehabilitation Fellowship.  Congratulations Carmen!
