Interested in?

  • At least 35 years old
  • Able to read and speak English
  • Able to walk independently
  • Free of any cardiac or respiratory conditions
  • Smartphone innovations for healthcare phone provided
  • Testing state of the art exercise devices

 

 

The Pulmonary Rehabilitation Research Laboratory at St Paul’s Hospital is recruiting subjects for a study investigating the accuracy of a

Smartphone system designed to monitor exercise for people with chronic lung disease.

Subject Assessment will include measurements of:

* Age and Sex

* Height and Weight

* Smoking history

* Education level and Smartphone experience

* Exercise measures (Heart Rate, Oxygen Saturation, and Energy Expenditure)

* Light intensity walking and cycling

Time Commitment:

Each visit will take approximately 2-3 hours.
